Sustainable "Greenlight" Invention

• 2022 ~ 2023

• Worked on creating a sustainable green light using renewable solar energy.

• Assembled the light with a specially manufactured solar panel, printed circuit board (PCB), and a battery holder.

• Aimed at providing an easily available light source for citizens in developing countries such as South Sudan.
   

Gift of Giving Co-Founder

• March 2022 ~ Present

• Co-Founder of Gift of Giving (GOG) Nonprofit Organization.

• Initiated fundraising efforts supporting those affected by the war in Ukraine, raising 3,000,000 Korean Won (approx. $2,000 US dollars).

• Personally drew Ukraine's national flower on canvas for anyone to write a supportive and encouraging message for the people of Ukraine. 

• Donated funds and artwork to the Embassy of Ukraine in Korea.

• Extended efforts to raise awareness in various locations, including a peace rally and city streets.

• Aims to combat poverty, war, terrorism, racism, inequality, illiteracy, and natural disasters globally.
   

Hope to the Future Association

• September 2022 ~ Present

• Volunteer Member.

• Artwork on shoes to support world peace and children's rights.

• Colored soccer balls for children's rights to play, shipped to South Sudan annually.
   

Grade 8 Chiang Mai Trip Service Project

• October 26, 2023

• Refurbished a Thai preschool during the Chiang Mai, Thailand school trip.

• Created murals, repainted drawings, and enhanced the overall environment for children, including Myanmar refugee families.
   

"We Go Together: US-ROK 70th Anniversary Passion Project

• August 2023 ~ Present

• Passion Project on History and East Asian Studies.

• Working on a campaign to introduce the “We Go Together” Exhibition at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History.

• Conducted in-person interviews with Americans/foreigners at COEX Mall.

• Conducted online interviews with native Koreans.
   

2022 Human Rights Youth Network

• December 18, 2022

• UN DGC Associated NGO: Hope to the Future Association.

• Volunteered to give a tour of Lotte World in Seoul for South African orphaned girls and women, victims of harassment.

• Engaged in conversations about cultural differences, human rights, and education rights for females.
   

Dongdaewon Fundraiser

• 2019 ~ Present

• School Fundraising Volunteer.

• Raises funds at SFS during a fundraiser event week to support North Koreans with tuberculosis.
   

Community Service Volunteer for Orphans in Korea

• 2014 ~ Present

• Individual long-term volunteer work.

• Donated allowance and used clothes and shoes annually.
